Symptoms
Assume that Microsoft Teams is on two calls (one is held), or Microsoft Teams is on a call and receives a second incoming call. If the Human Interface Device (HID) device Flash feature is used to swap the two calls, Skype for Business 2016 plays a dial tone.
Resolution
To fix this issue, make sure that you install one of the following client versions:

For Click-to-Run installation, the client version should be 16.0.12613.10000 or a later version.

For 2016 MSI installation, the client version should be 16.0.4979.1000 or a later version.

For Office 2019, the client version should be 16.0.10357.20012 or a later version.
Note Make sure that you create a Group Policy Object (GPO) to add a new DWORD registry key EnableTeamsHIDInterop and set the value to 1 in the following path:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync
