Precision Imaging Network (PIN) delivers AI insights directly into the tools clinicians already use—PowerScribe, worklists, PACS viewers, and care‑team systems. This article explains how PIN moves AI findings through your workflow and what you can expect as an end user.

Worklist integration

PIN helps radiologists focus on the most urgent exams by integrating AI findings into worklist tools.

What you will see

  • Priority changes on your worklist when AI detects critical findings.

  • Badges or visual indicators that highlight urgent cases.

    • In third‑party worklists, PIN sends priority updates.

Reporting integration

AI Findings are results generated by approved AI algorithms within the PIN ecosystem and delivered seamlessly into your reporting workflow.

These findings may include:

  • Measurements, observations, or text‑based metrics

  • Annotated secondary captures

  • Auto‑generated impressions or structured phrases

When new AI results are available, PowerScribeOne alerts you, and the findings display in context with the study you are interpreting.

There are two possible ways:

AI observations are auto‑inserted into the report. You may edit, modify, remove or keep the inserted findings.

How it works

Step1:  AI completes its analysis.

After the study is processed through PIN, AI generates structured findings—such as measurements, observations, or annotations.

Step 2: PowerScribe alerts you that AI findings are available.

When you open the study in PowerScribe, the system automatically detects that AI results exist.

Step 3: AI findings are inserted directly into the report

Based on your site’s configured reporting template, findings are placed in the appropriate sections.

e.g., Findings, Impression, Measurements.

You do not need to click or load anything manually.

Step 4: Launch the eUnity viewer (optional)

If you want to review visual annotations:

  • Select AI Findings button inside PowerScribe.

  • The eUnity viewer opens and displays:

    • AI annotations

    • Secondary captures

    • Key images or highlighted regions

Step 5: You complete the report as usual

The AI findings behave like normal report text—you can:

  • Edit wording

  • Correct or update anything

  • Delete items you feel are irrelevant

  • Add your own clinical interpretation

Findings review is a prompted workflow that appears inside PowerScribe when AI results are ready.

How it works

Step 1: You receive a prompt

As soon as AI results are available for the study you are reporting on, PowerScribe automatically notifies you.

Step 2: Review each Finding individually

AI-generated observations are displayed as a list of structured findings:

  • Measurements

  • Text-based observations

  • Secondary captures / annotations

  • Suggested impressions

Each AI finding is shown one at a time so you can quickly evaluate accuracy and relevance.

Step 3: Accept or reject Findings one by one

For every AI finding, you choose:

  • Accept: The finding is inserted into your report

  • Reject: The finding is discarded and does not appear in your report

This ensures your clinical judgment remains primary, and only the insights you validate become part of patient documentation.

Step 4: Accepted Findings auto‑insert into the report

Once accepted:

  • Findings flow directly into the appropriate sections of your structured report

  • No retyping required

  • You may edit, adjust, or delete them afterward just like any other text

Rejected findings do not appear anywhere in the report.
