Summary
This security update resolves an information disclosure vulnerability that exists when Microsoft Excel incorrectly discloses the contents of its memory. To learn more about the information disclosure vulnerability, see Microsoft Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures CVE-2019-0669.
Note To apply this security update, you must have the release version of Service Pack 2 for Office 2010 installed.
Be aware that the update in the Microsoft Download Center applies to the Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2010. It doesn't apply to the Office 2010Â Click-to-Run editions, such as Microsoft Office 365 Home (see Determining your Office version).
Improvements and fixes
This update makes improvements to enable the new Japanese era when it becomes available.
Note To enable these improvements, you have to install the following updates together with this update.
