Activate Microsoft 365 or a non-subscription version of Office. When you start an Microsoft 365 app that's not activated, you'll be prompted to sign in to Microsoft 365. Be sure to sign in using the Microsoft account, or work or school account, that you used to buy or subscribe to Microsoft 365.

Sign in to a work/school account using a remote computer. Many apps allow you to authenticate by entering a code on another device such as a PC. If you want to sign in on a remote computer to install Authenticator, follow these steps. Note: This feature is usable only by users whose admins have enabled remote sign-in.

Find and add an extension to Microsoft Edge. In Microsoft Edge, select Extensions, located to the right of your browser address bar. Note: If you don't see Extensions to the right of your browser address bar, select Settings and more > Extensions. Select Get Extensions for Microsoft Edge.

Sign in to Outlook on the web with your work or school account. Go to outlook.office.com. If you're not automatically signed in with your work or school account, follow the prompts to enter the email address and password for your work or school account.

Manage your Microsoft 365 subscription or Office product. Excel for Microsoft 365 Word for Microsoft 365 More... You can manage all of your Microsoft subscriptions in your Microsoft account dashboard. Select each subscription to change when and how you pay, or to see order history & receipts. Choose your account type.

To access your OneDrive settings, click or tap the OneDrive icon in the taskbar or notification area. Tips: If you don't see the OneDrive icon, OneDrive might not be running. On a PC, go to Start, type OneDrive in the search box, and then click OneDrive in the search results.

How to use File Explorer: To pin a folder to Quick access, right-click (or press and hold) the folder and select Pin to Quick access. To share a file, select it, then select Share on the ribbon. To move the location of a file or folder, select it and then select Cut on the ribbon.

Your Hotmail or Outlook.com password is the same as your Microsoft Account password. If you can you sign in but are having problems with Outlook.com, check the service status. If the status isn't green, wait until the service is running normally and try again.
