If you have Visio Plan 2 or a non-subscription version such as Visio Professional or Visio Standard 2021, 2019, or 2016 you can install and use the desktop app. If you have Visio Plan 1 the only way for you to access Visio is via the web app version. Installing Windows 11 on devices that don't meet minimum system requirements. If you changed your hardware in order to upgrade to Windows 11 and the system is not recognizing the change in a timely manner, this article explains how to initiate the assessment manually.

Office 2019 or 2016 for PC Office 2016 for Mac Office 2013 for PC. Install Microsoft 365 2019 or 2016 on a PC. Remember a one-time purchase version of Microsoft 365 is licensed for one install only. Depending on your browser, select Open file (in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox).

Windows 11. If an existing Windows 10 device is running a currently supported version of Windows 10 and meets the minimum hardware specifications to run Windows 11, it can be upgraded to Windows 11. Specific timing for upgrade rollout varies by device and certain features require specific hardware.

If you get an error code while downloading and installing Windows updates, the Update Troubleshooter can help resolve the problem. Select Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. Next, under Most frequent, select Windows Update > Run.

Once the Windows 11 upgrade has been tested and validated for your specific PC, Windows Update will indicate that it's ready for installation. To check if Windows 11 is ready for your device, go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for updates.

To share a file or folder over a network in File Explorer, do the following: Right-click (or long-press) a file, and then select Show more options > Give access to Specific people. Select a user on the network to share the file with, or select Everyone to give all network users access to the file.
