There are different ways to remove apps and programs, so if you can't find the one you're looking for, you can try another location. Note that some apps and programs are built into Windows and can't be uninstalled. You can try to repair a program first, if it's just not running correctly.

If you run into problems trying to connect to a Bluetooth device, here are some troubleshooting steps to try. Note: For general info about how to connect a Bluetooth device to your PC, see Pair a Bluetooth device in Windows.

Sending a message. If you haven't already set up messages, do the following: On your PC, in the Phone Link, select Messages. To start a new conversation, select New message. Enter the name or phone number of a contact. Select the person you want to send a message to.

Go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. Select the Windows Hello method that you want to set up, Select Set up. If you don't see Windows Hello in Sign-in options, then it may not be available for your device. Windows Hello does require a compatible camera or fingerprint reader.

With voice typing, you can enter text on your PC by speaking. Voice typing uses online speech recognition, which is powered by Azure Speech services.

Windows 10. Receive photos, videos, or other kinds of files that you or a friend shares from another device, such as a phone, laptop, or tablet. On your PC, select Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Learn how to pair.

When your camera isn't working in Windows 11, it might be missing drivers after a recent update. It's also possible that your antivirus program is blocking the camera, your privacy settings don't allow camera access for some apps, or there's a problem with the app you want to use.

This setting allows you to choose if any of your apps can access the camera. It doesn't set which specific apps can access the camera. Once you've allowed your apps to access the camera, you can change the setting for each app. Find the app you want, then turn on camera access for that app.

If you're having problems with Windows 11 on your PC or you want a fresh copy of Windows 11 without the clutter of old files or apps, you can reinstall Windows 11 to try and fix your issues and return your PC to a cleaner state.
