If you can't sign in to your Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN email account, or you're not sure how to sign in or sign out, here are some solutions.

If you want to send automatic replies to those outside your organization, we recommend choosing Send replies only to contacts. When you're done, select Save. There are two ways to send automatic out-of-office replies in classic Outlook. The way you do it depends on the type of email account you have.

From the ribbon, select Recall Message, then select OK in the confirmation dialog box. Shortly thereafter, you'll receive a Message Recall Report in your inbox. Select the link in that message to see whether your recall has succeeded, is pending, or failed.

Messages received from any email address or domain in your safe senders and recipients list are never sent to your Junk Email folder. IMPORTANT: The server that hosts your mailbox may have junk email filtering settings that block messages before they reach your mailbox.

If you want to use a new email address with your existing Outlook.com account, follow the instructions in this article to create an email alias. This will give you an additional email address that uses the same inbox, contact list, and account settings as your primary email address.

Schedule a message for later. While composing a message, select the dropdown next to Send and select Schedule send. Select one of the default options, then select Send or choose a custom time and then select Send . After you select Send, the message remains in the Draft folder until the delivery time. After you send an email message, you might want to find that email and resend it or forward it to someone else. Outlook stores your messages in the Sent Items folder. If you don't see the Sent Items folder, you may need to change your Outlook settings.
