Standard channels are available to all team members in Teams. Most channels are standard channels. If you need a smaller, specific audience for a particular subject, you can use a private channel. Shared channels are for collaborating with people inside and outside your team or organization.

In Microsoft Teams, you can add published SharePoint pages, lists, and document libraries as individual tabs in a Teams channel. Team members can view pages, edit lists, work with their shared files, and add comments in the Teams tabs.

Use @mentions to get someone's attention in Microsoft Teams
To get someone's attention in a channel conversation or a chat, @mention them. Just type @ before their name and then select them from the menu that appears. Note: You can also mention someone simply by typing their name.
