If your purchase of Office or Microsoft 365 came with a product key, you enter your product key on one of the websites listed below for your product. If you don't have an account, follow these steps to join. If you're having trouble joining a Teams meeting, try I can't join a Teams meeting. Note: For some meetings, admin settings prevent people who are not signed in from joining the meeting.

Learn how to add Teams to your Outlook meeting. Note: Up to 1,000 invitees can join a Teams meeting and interact by using chat, audio, and video. Invitees can also join a meeting that already has 1,000 participants (up to 10,000) as view-only attendees.

When you receive an invite to a meeting, you can join from your Teams calendar. If someone sends you a meeting invite in Chat, select the link > Join now. In Teams, select Calendar to see your meetings. Find the meeting you want to attend and select Join.

If you want This PC to show up in your Start menu, open File Explorer, right-click (or press and hold) This PC in the left pane, and then select Pin to Start. Now, there's a This PC tile on the Start menu.

Closed or Live Captions. Live captions are available during a meeting, but they aren't recorded with the video. To turn on captions during a meeting: In your meeting, select More actions > Language and speech . Select Turn on live captions . Your captions are displayed under the meeting screen.

Open your Teams app: If you already have the Teams app, go right to your meeting. Type your name. Choose your audio and video settings. Select Join now. Depending on meeting settings, you'll get in right away, or go to a lobby where someone in the meeting will admit you.

Create breakout rooms before the meeting. Organizers or presenters must first join the meeting to create or manage breakout rooms. Go to Teams Calendar and open the meeting invite. Go to Breakout rooms and select Create rooms. Choose the number of rooms you want (up to 50) and select Add rooms.

After you've invited people to your meeting, you can add up to 10 co-organizers to help manage your meeting. Co-organizers are displayed as additional organizers in the meeting participant list and have most of the capabilities of the meeting organizer.
