When you’re away from your console or your Windows 10/11 device, you can still get ready to play your next Xbox console game. Use the Xbox mobile app, the Xbox Game Pass app, or the Microsoft Store on PC to remotely install games—so your games are ready when you are.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.; Select People > Find someone.; Search for a gamertag. Be sure to pay close attention to the gamertag's spelling and spacing. Press the A button to select the account that you want to add.; Select Add friend to add the person’s Xbox profile to your friends list. You will appear as a follower until they add you back.
