The Hold and eDiscovery feature, which is available for any site, enables organizations to locate and suspend items such as documents, images, pages, from expiration policies. You would typically use this feature for items that are subject to events such as litigation, audits, or investigations.

Use due dates and reminders to keep everything on track. Scheduled tasks will automatically appear in the Planned smart list, where you can see your tasks due today, tomorrow, and beyond.

The retention policy for a message appears in the header in the Reading Pane under the recipient names and includes the expiration date. The Assign Policy command is missing on the ribbon.

If your admin has set an expiration time for guest access, each guest that you invite to the site or with whom you share individual files and folders will be given access for a certain number of days. If you want them to continue to have access, you must extend their access.
