On your select Android device, open the Link to Windows app. In the upper right-hand corner, tap the Settings icon. Tap Accounts. Find the Microsoft account, and then tap Sign out. Note: After signing out of Link to Windows and Phone Link, your devices will be removed.

Cast to an external display from your Windows PC. You can wirelessly connect your PC to a TV, projector, or other kind of external display that supports Miracast. Turn on your TV, projector, or other display. If you're using a Miracast dongle or adapter, make sure it's plugged in to the display.

If you see a list of Android devices, choose the one you wish to pair with Phone Link to access your favorite apps, respond to texts, make calls, view photos, and more from your PC. Grant permissions on the Link to Windows app on your Android device. You are all set to use Phone Link.

Pair a Bluetooth device in Windows. You can pair all kinds of Bluetooth devices with your PC—including keyboards, mice, phones, speakers, and a whole lot more. To do this, your PC needs to have Bluetooth. Some PCs, such as laptops and tablets, have Bluetooth built in.

If you run into problems trying to connect to a Bluetooth device, here are some troubleshooting steps to try. Note: For general info about how to connect a Bluetooth device to your PC, see Pair a Bluetooth device in Windows.

Office 2019 or 2016 for PC Office 2016 for Mac Office 2013 for PC. Install Microsoft 365 2019 or 2016 on a PC. Remember a one-time purchase version of Microsoft 365 is licensed for one install only. Depending on your browser, select Open file (in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox).

Remove or block notifications in Edge settings. In Edge, go to Settings and more in the upper right corner of your browser window. Select Settings > Cookies and site permissions and select Notifications. Under Allow, you will find a list of websites that are currently sending you notifications.

Codec packs add additional codec support to Windows. Apps like Media Player will then be able to play media files encoded in these formats. The following codecs packs are available: MPEG-2 Video Extension. Adds support for the MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video formats. HEVC Video Extension.

If you save your changes, they'll be saved as a new file and your original photo remains unchanged on your Android device. Note: The Phone Link doesn't currently support multiple Android profiles or work/school accounts. If you encounter issues with photos, these troubleshooting tips may help.
