If you can't sign in to your Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN email account, or you're not sure how to sign in or sign out, here are some solutions.

To unblock your account, you'll need to reset your password. Enter the email address of the blocked account, then enter the characters you see on your screen and select Next. Enter the code generated by your authenticator app or select Use a different verification option to get a text message.

In the meantime, sign in to your account to see your latest refund request status. Redeem gift cards and codes to make Xbox purchases and extend your Xbox subscriptions. Codes are 25 characters long, include both numbers and letters, and follow a 5x5 format—five blocks of five characters.

Under Send automatic replies inside your organization, enter the message to send while you're away. (You can use the formatting options for text alignment, color, and emphasis.) To set up automatic replies to other people, select Send replies outside your organization, then add a separate message for that audience.

You can manage all of your Microsoft subscriptions in your Microsoft account dashboard. Select each subscription to change when and how you pay, or to see order history & receipts. Choose your account type.

SharePoint is a browser-based app that you connect to through your web browser, like so: Go to office.com, and sign in to your work or school account. In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher > All apps > SharePoint.

Sending a message. If you haven't already set up messages, do the following: On your PC, in the Phone Link, select Messages. To start a new conversation, select New message. Enter the name or phone number of a contact. Select the person you want to send a message to.
