Mark a message as important or urgent in Microsoft Teams
To help make sure your message gets noticed, mark it as important or urgent. Tap the plus sign next to the box where you type your message. Tap Priority.. Tap Important or Urgent.This adds the word IMPORTANT! or URGENT! to your message.

@mention a tag in a channel. In a channel conversation, simply @mention a tag (type @ and the tag name) in your message and select the tag from the list.The tag will appear just like any @mention, and the people associated with the tag will be notified.
