Appointments are events on your calendar that do not involve inviting other people or reserving resources (such as a meeting room). Meetings are events that involve gathering with other people.

  1. From the outlook calendar icon Calendar of classic Outlook, select New Appointment.

  2. Add a title and start and end times for your meeting.

  3. If necessary, add other details in the description pane at the bottom.

  4. Select Save.
