Change the voice in Immersive Reader for OneNote

1. Sign into Microsoft365.com.

2. Select Word or OneNote.

3. Open a document or notebook page and select View > Immersive Reader .

   • For Outlook Online, log into Microsoft365.com, select Mail, and open an email. Select More Options , then Show in Immersive Reader.

4. Select Settings  to open Voice Settings:
   

Change voice type

Voice type controls the playback voice of the reader.

1. Select Male or Female to change which voice is used for playback.
2. Press Play to hear the voice.

1. Open OneNote.
2. Select View > Immersive Reader.
3. Select Voice Settings .
   

Change voice speed

The Voice Speed slider controls the playback speed of the reader.

1. Select Voice Speed, and move it right or left to increase or decrease the voice's reading speed.
2. Press Play  to hear the different speeds.

Change the speaking voice

1. Select Voice, then choose a voice from the list. 
2. Press Play to hear each voice.

Select Download More Voices to make more voices and languages available to read the text.
