Sync your contacts

You might already see your contacts in the People app if you added or associated an email account (like Outlook, Exchange, or Gmail) with your Microsoft account. When you signed in to your phone, the contacts from that account were automatically added to the People app.

If you don’t see contacts in the People app, or there are contacts you want to add, the easiest way is to add all of your different email accounts to the People app.

Add contacts from your email account

  1. From Start , select People.

  2. Select More , and then select Settings.

  3. Select Add an account.

  4. Choose the type of account you want to add, or select Advanced setup if you want to add something other than what's listed.

  5. Enter the sign-in info for the account you want to add.
