INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario:

    • A HTML email message contains a link to an image which is hosted on a SharePoint server.

    • You open the email message in Outlook 2010.

    • You try to print the email message.

In this scenario, a credential window pops up. Additionally, the image is displayed as a red X after you close the credential window.

Note The image is available for anonymous users on the SharePoint server.

  • You receive a series of error messages when you use an Office 2010 application to open an Information Rights Management (IRM) protected document. This issue specifically occurs after the administrator upgrades the crypto mode of the Rights Management Services (RMS) server.

  • Assume that you set the following registry subkey value to 0:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\General\LastAutoSavePurgeTime
After you create a Word 2010 document and save it, the STARTUP folder is missing from the following path:
    C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word
