INTRODUCTION
This article describes an update that is available to support Direct Access or other IPv6 connections in Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail 2009 R2 Refresh. After you apply this update, Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail Store Connect and Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail Transaction Service can work in an environment, such as Direct Access, that uses IPv6 connections. Additionally, you can run jobs from the Retail scheduler module in Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail Headquarters.

Configure IPv6 communications according to the "Deploying AX for Retail with IPv6_cumulativehotfixes.pdf" file that is included in the download of hotfix 2654793.
Note You must configure IPv6 communications for Retail Store Connect, Retail Transaction Service, and Retail Headquarters.
