INTRODUCTION
This article describes that a country-specific update is available to support the Indian excise duty calculation for capital goods in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

This update resolves the following issue:

Assume that excise duty rates in a capital goods transaction are different for the purchase order date and the delivery date. When you try to post the corresponding purchase order, you receive the following error message:
Ledger accounts not defined for registration number 'registration number'. Posting has been canceled.
This issue occurs when the following conditions are true:-
The Sales tax code values are different on the purchase order creation date and on the delivery date.

Fixed asset number is specified in the purchase order.

The Sales tax dialog box is opened before the purchase order is confirmed.

Restart requirement
You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
