This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for all regions.

INTRODUCTION

This article describes that a country-specific update is available for the Denmark OIOUBL invoice and collection letter validator that is scheduled to be updated on September 15, 2013 in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1), Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

Danish companies must submit sales order invoices, free text invoices, project invoices, sales order credit notes, and project invoice credit notes as xml files to the government. These xml files must comply with the Offentlig Information Online Universal Business Language (OIOUBL) standards. OIOUBL has been updated for the use with electronic invoices for Denmark. OIOUBL contains specifications for all required business document types that support the business process from catalogs to invoices.

More Information

When an electronic document in the Danish OIOUBL format is submitted, it undergoes a validation during the submission. The document is successfully submitted only if all validation passes. The validation tool is updated on September 15, 2013. These changes are applicable on all electronic invoice documents which we already support: sales order invoice, free text invoice, project invoice, and credit note.

Additionally, this update also contains the following changes:

  • Support for both positive and negative lines on invoice document.

  • Support for the collection letter that is introduced according to Ministry for Science, Technology and Development Announcement No. 354 on Information and Transport of OUIUBL electronic invoice for electronic settlement with public authorities, which is mandatory for the public authorities to send additional documents, the electronic reminder (collection letter), in the OIOUBL format.

The general workflow for Denmark electronic documents is described in the following TechNet topic and White Paper:
