INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you have a Word document that contains tracked changes in a table. If you press the Backspace key to delete a character near the table, Word may crash.

  • The file size of the document increases unexpectedly by comparing and merging two documents.

  • Assume that you have a specific table in your document. When you execute Selection.Find, Word may crash.

  • When you print multiple pages of a document on one page in Word 2013, the table shading in the document may print incorrectly.

  • You may experience slow performance when you programmatically query for the paragraph properties in Word 2013.

  • When you open a text that is saved in the UTF-8 encoding format in Word 2013, you may find incorrect formatting applies to random characters.

  • Assume that you edit an equation in a Word document that has Track Changes enabled. Sometimes, you cannot save the document, and Word may sometimes crash.

  • When you use the Range.WordOpenXML method in a word document that contains a chart or a SmartArt graphic that is linked to a network location, you may experience poor performance.
