Netflix users encounter error H7353 when resuming movie playback from a previously saved bookmark in Windows 8.1

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a computer that is running Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2.
  • You browse to the Netflix site in Internet Explorer.
  • You sign in to Netflix.
  • You select a movie that you previously watched, and the movie has a bookmark.
  • You resume playback from the bookmark.
In this situation, playback fails, and you receive error code H7353.

Note This issue does not occur in the Netflix Windows Store app.
