The range of ports is not displayed when a Windows Firewall rule defines a local port range

Applies to: Windows Server 2008 R2 DatacenterWindows Server 2008 R2 EnterpriseWindows Server 2008 R2 Foundation More

Symptoms

Assume that you view the policy settings of a Group Policy Object (GPO) on the Settings tab in Microsoft Group Policy Management Console (GPMC). If the GPO contains a Windows Firewall rule that defines a local port range, the range of ports is not displayed.

For example, you add the following individual ports and a range of ports to the policy:

Local ports specified

When you view the policy settings, you expect to see all the added values displayed. However, you see only the individual ports displayed. You do not see the range of ports.
