This article describes issues that occur when you use the HTMLView control on a Windows Embedded Compact 2013-based device. An update is available to resolve these issues. Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.

Symptoms

Issue 1

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have an application that uses the HTMLView control.

  • You run the application on a Windows Embedded Compact 2013 device.

  • The application passes a URL that contains a fragment identifier to the HTMLView control navigation command.

In this scenario, the HTMLView control cannot navigate to the webpage section that is specified in the fragment identifier. When this issue occurs, the HTMLView control loads a blank page.

Issue 2

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have an application that uses the HTMLView control.

  • You run the application on a Windows Embedded Compact 2013 device.

  • The application passes a URL that contains a fragment identifier to the HTMLView control navigation command.

Note The navigation command in this URL is the first navigation command of the HTMLView control.

In this scenario, although the HTMLView control navigates to the correct webpage that is defined in the URL, it does not navigate to the correct webpage section that is specified in the fragment identifier.
