More Information

This problem can occur when the following conditions are true:

  • A task sequence restarts the computer.

  • Network connectivity on the client is not fully established by the time that the LocationServices component of the Configuration Manager client starts.

This problem can cause the client to incorrectly determine that it is an Internet-based client. Therefore, it does not find the necessary content for the application on a local Distribution Point.
