This article describes an issue that occurs when you set an attached property by using a style in a Microsoft Silverlight for Windows Embedded (SWE) application for Windows Embedded Compact 2013. Before you install the update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.

Symptoms

Assume that you have an SWE application that is running on a Windows Embedded Compact 2013-based device. You cannot set or get an attached property by using a style when the property has been registered by using the RegisterAttachedProperty API. Other attached properties such as Grid.Row or conventional dependency properties that are registered by using RegisterDependencyProperty work as expected.

Resolution

Download information

Windows Embedded Compact 2013 Monthly Update (November 2014) is now available from Microsoft. To download this Windows Embedded Compact 2013 monthly update, go to Microsoft OEM Online or MyOEM.
