You encounter a failure during a second restart while the computer is upgraded from Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 to Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2. This is because some drivers are uninstalled incorrectly during this process. Then, the system tries to recover automatically and continue with the upgrade. However, the retry is unsuccessful.
