Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You use the out-of-the-box (OOB) PassThruReceive pipeline to receive files in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 R2 or BizTalk Server 2013.

  • You apply a tracking profile to the receive port to map BizTalk Server event sources to Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) target activities.

  • You try to process an invalid XML message through the previous receive port.
