FIX: Access violation occurs when you update compressed data in SQL Server 2014

Assume that you update compressed data by using a parameterized query in Microsoft SQL Server 2014. When the data type in the query doesn’t match the data type in the target table or the length of the parameter in the query doesn’t match the length of the column in the target table, an access violation may occur.

This issue occurs because SQL Server can’t allocate additional memory for the parameters.
