FIX: Permission issue or failure occurs when you upgrade to SQL Server 2016 Master Data Services

Symptoms


This update fixes the following issues:
  • If the Master Data Services (MDS) database contains attributes that end with in "_Code", "_Name", or "_ID", the MDS database upgrade may fail.
  • If you use member permissions in an earlier version of MDS, the member permissions may not be upgraded correctly, and the member permissions may be broken after the upgrade.
