This issue occurs when you use the Business Rules Extension feature (Master Data Services) in the following scenario:
- You create a user-defined function that takes an argument in Microsoft SQL Server 2016.
- You create a business rule that takes that function as a condition or as an action.
- You set Blank as the parameter value.
- You publish the business rule.
Cannot insert the value NULL into column "ArgumentScript"
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
