FIX: NK.bin file isn't detected by boot loader in Windows Embedded Compact 2013

This article describes an issue that blocks the detection of the NK.bin file by the boot loader in Windows Embedded Compact 2013. An update is available to fix this issue. Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.

When you use a Windows Embedded Compact 2013 device, the current FAT32 implementation ignores the higher bits of a file cluster. This prevents the NK.bin file from being detected by the boot loader if the file is stored in the boot media that's already filled with more than 256 megabytes (MB) of data.
