Assume that you install Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 3. When you execute queries that contain CHANGETABLE functions, CPU usage might increase significantly.

This issue is fixed in Cumulative Update 5 for SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 3.
