Microsoft is retiring the Remix3D.com site on January 10th, 2020. We advise all users who want to keep their uploaded content to take action and download their existing Remix3D.com 3D models to other file storage and sharing platforms as soon as possible, as Remix3D.com will no longer be available after this date.
There are a number of alternate content sharing options available today. OneDrive represents the ideal platform for sharing your 3D models, and it offers additional tools, permission settings, and security to help protect your data and content. With the retirement of the Remix3D.com site, we hope to streamline our offerings in this space and provide you with a more cohesive experience.

Please carefully read the information in this FAQ to learn more about your options for transferring or deleting your existing Remix3D.com content and account.
No. The ability to insert 3D models, either user generated or those provided by Microsoft, into Paint 3D, 3D Viewer, 3D Builder and Photos as well as into PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook will not be affected. Microsoft is committed to providing users with high quality 3D models, which customers can use to further enhance their own content. The Remix3D.com site and existing content stored on its servers will be retired according to the following schedule:
[July 10th, 2019] — Users are informed that the Remix3D.com site will be retired as of January 10th, 2020. We advise all users to take action and download their existing Remix3D.com 3D models to other file storage and sharing platforms as soon as possible, as Remix3D.com will no longer be available after January 10th, 2020.
[August 7th, 2019] — Uploads of new 3D models to the Remix3D.com site will be disabled. As an alternative, OneDrive can be used for sharing 3D models. Remix3D.com users will be able to access existing published 3D models until the site is retired on January 10th, 2020.
Additionally, we will release an update, so Remix3D.com users will no longer be able to log into their Remix3D.com account from Paint 3D, 3D Builder and Photos nor from PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. However, customers can still continue to insert 3D models in these applications.
[January 10th, 2020] — The Remix3D.com site and all of its content will be officially retired. All links to Remix3D.com will stop working after this date.
You can download your 3D models easily by going to the Remix3D.com site. Just follow these steps:
Go to www.remix3d.com and click the "My stuff" button on the top left of the page. This will take you to a new page from where you can view all your 3D models. Note: If you are not signed in, clicking the "My stuff" button will sign you into the community.
On the "My stuff" page, click the 3D model you want to download, and then click the "Download model" button to begin downloading that specific 3D model.
You can use OneDrive to share files, photos, Microsoft Office documents, and entire folders with people. The files and folders you store in OneDrive are private until you decide to share them, and you can stop sharing at any time. To learn more, go to Share OneDrive files and folders.
Once the Remix3D.com site is no longer available, Microsoft will delete all user-generated 3D models and associated metadata from its systems, and users will no longer be able download it or request a copy of it from Microsoft.

Once your model has been published to the Remix 3D community, it is joining a large network full of 3D models and the people who create them. As soon as a model has been uploaded, anyone can open it from the community, remix it, or even 3D print it. You will always have attribution for the models you upload.
Everyone in Remix 3D plays an important role in keeping our community safe. If you see something that makes you uncomfortable, please let us know. Our built-in reporting option makes this fast and easy to do, and our moderation team reviews all reports and removes content that doesn’t follow our guidelines.
If inappropriate content appears, click More and then click Report.
When the Report this model box appears, click the arrow to expand the list and select a reason. In the Details box, enter the necessary information about your report, and then select Submit.
