Symptoms

Assume that you run an application that uses memory-optimized tables in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Standard edition. In this scenario, a memory leak occurs and you may receive an error message that resembles the following:

[INFO] HkDatabaseTryAcquireUserMemory(): Database ID: [DatabaseID]. Out of user memory quota: requested = RequestedBytes; available = AvailableBytes; quota = 34359738368; operation = 1.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:

       Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2016 SP1
