This security update resolves an information disclosure vulnerability that exists if Microsoft Exchange allows entities to be created even though they have Display Names that contain non-printable characters. Note To apply this security update, you must have the release version of Outlook 2016 installed on the computer.
Be aware that the update in the Microsoft Download Center applies to the Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2016. It doesn't apply to the Office 2016 Click-to-Run editions, such as Microsoft Office 365 Home (see What version of Office am I using?).

This security update contains the following improvements and fixes:
Improvement: Changes are made in the Outlook holiday file (Outlook.HOL). This includes extending the date range to the year 2026 for many events. To enable these changes, delete existing holidays from your calendar, install both this update and KB 4475515, and then restore holidays to your calendar. For more information about how to add or delete holidays in the Outlook calendar, see Add holidays to your calendar in Outlook for Windows.
Fix: Categories that are set on items in a shared mailbox may be not synced to the server and other clients.
