Symptoms

Assume that you run a query with joins to retrieve data from two or more tables in SQL Server 2017. In some situations, when the query optimizer replaces a physical join operator like Hash Joins or Nested Loop Joins with the Adaptive Join operator, you may experience an access violation exception. This issue may occur intermittently.
