Introduction

Power Apps portal version 9.2.6.x is in Early Upgrade phase. To know the release schedule please check Office 365 message center for release schedule in your geographical region.

This article describes the features and enhancements that were included in this update, as well as the scope of the release. For a full list of all portal updates released to date and their corresponding KB articles, please reference this KB article.

Power Apps Portals Version 9.2.6.x Release

This release includes only an updated portal host and no solution package updates. The portal host will automatically be updated to version 9.2.6.60 by Microsoft.

Power Apps Portals Version 9.2.6.x Release

Portal host Version 9.2.6.60  resolves the following issues:

  • Entity form UI gets distorted sometimes when clicking on the field validation errors.

  • Multi step webform on different portals connected to same org doesn't work properly.

  • Error message shown while uploading SharePoint files doesn't display properly in Multi byte languages.

  • Custom Error page is not displayed even when custom errors are turned on in certain conditions.

  • HTML markup for ‘Account/SignIn/SignInLocalFormHeading’ content snippet is not displayed properly.

  • JAWS is narrating “Sort (Ascending/ Descending)” information along with “Previous Column header name” in Entity List.

  • NVDA is narrating the unnecessary information when invoking 'Delete' button in Entity form.

  • NVDA focus is not landing on 'Delete' popup when invoking 'Delete' button in Entity form.

  • Focus is lost when user selects a view from the from the Entity list view selector.

  • Focus lost in calendar popup navigation buttons ( ‘ > ‘).

  • invalid email address is not read by narrator on entity form and profile page.

  • NVDA not reading the order of the dropdown menu in which view are present in Entity list view selector.

  • Webform does not render when Entity Source Type is set to "Current Portal User" on step 1 of the webform.

  • Liquid error is shown in search result when width of an entity list column is not set.

  • Unifying the caching approach for add-ons and capacity based portals and caching performance improvements. See details here

Following issues were fixed in 9.2.6.58 build

  • Webforms are sometimes displaying an error "RequestVerificationtoken is missing" when moving from one step to next.

  • In Multilingual portals, datetime fields are displayed in English (US) format even when the language selected on portal is different.

Following issues were fixed in 9.2.6.60 build

  • Oauth token issued by Portal in Implicit grant glow contains Full URL for signature and can cause signature validation failure. This can lead to Authenticated chat failure when using CafeX Live assist.

Potential Breaking Change

  • External Identity providers will require SSL(https) endpoints. This change introduces a strict https validation to conform with modern security standards. If any endpoint used by providers is not SSL enabled, users will see an error when trying to login with that provider.

This release also contains performance, security fixes and improve overall reliability of Power Apps portals.
