Applies ToSQL Server 2019 on Linux SQL Server 2019 on Windows

Symptoms

When you run PolyBase queries that have an EXECUTE AS statement in Microsoft SQL Server 2019, you notice that the PolyBase queries time out, or you receive an error message that resembles the following:

Msg 11001, Level 16, State 1, Line LineNumber

TCP Provider: No such host is known.

 

Msg 15274, Level 16, State 1, Line LineNumber

Access to the remote server is denied because the current security context is not trusted.

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
