If you're seeing this error message, it is because you are trying to open an Access database that has features or controls in it that your current older version of Access can't understand. You won't be able to open this Access database unless the person who created the database removes those features and controls that aren't compatible with the Access version you are using.
Data Type Support Options
If the database was created in Access for Microsoft 365 and contains Large Number (BigInt) data types or Date Time Extended (DateTime2) data types, you won't be able to open this database in earlier versions of Access.
