Summary

FRx Report Manager is a separate program used to combine multiple file types into one report book to easily create, review, and distribute information. FRx Report Manager creates a report book with a tree structure consisting of folders, documents, and reports for easy preview, printing, and publishing capabilities.

Note: FRx Report Manager is installed with the local client and network client Microsoft FRx installations. FRx Report Manager comes with a 30 trial period, after which requires a license for continued use.

Note: FRx Report Manager is dependent on FRx Report Designer. The installation program will not install FRx Report Manager onto a computer that does not already have FRx Report Designer installed. FRx Report Manager requires the ability to access the SysData directory that FRx Designer is accessing.

Microsoft FRx directory on local workstations with a shared Sysdata (Local Client with shared Sysdata directory):
The local client with a shared SysData directory is described as a workstation that launches the Microsoft FRx executable from the workstation and retrieves company information, specification sets, and security from a shared location on a server.

Microsoft FRx directory on local workstation (Stand alone):
The stand alone installation is described as a workstation that has Microsoft FRx executables installed on it. The company information, specification sets, and security are also located locally.
