You have a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) site.
You try to import a driver package into the site by using the Import New Driver Wizard in the System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Configuration Manager console.
One or more files in the driver package are imported into the site before you run the wizard.
In this scenario, the Import New Driver Wizard fails and you receive the following message:
The Import New Driver Wizard completed with errors. For more information about the tasks that were not completed, see Details.
Details: Error: Some driver(s) cannot be imported successfully. Please see following details. Error: Failed to import the following drivers: <File name> - The selected driver has already been imported at this site.
To resolve this issue, install the hotfix on the computer that has the System Center Configuration Manager 2007 console installed.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
