Consider the following scenario in a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 or Host Integration Server 2010 environment:
You try to start the SnaPrint service.
An IBM AS/400 connection is set to start automatically.
In this scenario, the SnaPrint service may crash.
This problem occurs because of an access violation in the SnaPrint service. Although the SnaPrint service may assign only 1 byte for a field at the end of a control block, the service then creates code to treat this as an 8-byte field. This problem corrupts the heap that is detected on the next call to allocate memory.
