You install Microsoft Office Project 2007 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) on a computer.
You try to open a project, add tasks or mark tasks in a project that was published to Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 on a server.
In this scenario, you receive one of the following error messages:
TF80068: Team Foundation encountered an error while communicating with the server. Check your connection and try again.
TF80070: Team Foundation encountered an error while performing the operation. It is recommended that you save your work and restart the application.
Note If the computer has Visual Studio 2010 installed, the issue does not occur.

To apply this hotfix, you must have Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix if you have closed all instances of Visual Studio in advance.
