Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2012 fixes in one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security updates that were included with the previous SQL Server 2012 update release.
Symptoms
When you use Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) - Business Intelligence for Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 to create a perspective in SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services (SSAS 2012), you may receive the following error message:
Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index
The issue occurs when the following conditions are true:

The perspective contains a table for which the units of measurement are not defined.

The table contains Text data type values.
Note When this issue occurs, SSAS 2012 may crash.
