INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • You can view the details of private items from a shared calendar unexpectedly in a specific case.

  • When you open an item from a folder that has the Show as Conversation option selected, the Write event and the AfterWrite event may occur even when the item is already marked as read.

  • Consider the following scenario:

    • You add multiple Exchange accounts to the same Outlook profile.

    • You apply the ForceAccountSelection policy, and you set the value of ForceAccountSelection to 1.

    • You start Outlook, and then you open the Contacts folder.

In this scenario, when you right-click any contact, select Create, and then click any item in the list, no new item is created.

  • Consider the following scenario:

    • You have a folder of which the name begins with "Inbox." in your Exchange mailbox.

    • You configure your email account in a non-English version of Outlook 2010 by using Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP).

In this scenario, the name of the folder is translated into a non-English language. Additionally, the items in the folder do not sync.

  • After you install this update, Outlook does not log "Synchronization of some deletions failed" sync errors in the Sync Issues Folder.

  • When you forward a meeting, the form is pre-populated with all meeting attendees in some cases.
