Symptoms

Assume that you have an image that is stored in SQL Server tables as a header or a footer image in Report Definition Language (RDL) reports. You open a drillThrough report that has the header or footer imager in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) web service page. In this situation, the image is not displayed correctly in the webpage. Additionally, you receive the following error message in SSRS log:

library!ReportServer_0-2!10d4!<timestamp>:: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.StreamNotFoundException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.StreamNotFoundException: The stream cannot be found. The stream identifier that is provided to an operation cannot be located in the report server database.;

Note This issue does not occur in Report Manager.

Resolution

Service pack information for SQL Server 2014

To resolve this issue, obtain Service Pack 1 for SQL Server 2014.
