A task sequence (TS) doesn't start as expected in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager. This issue occurs if the Run Command Line Action sequence step has a link to a package, and the deployment for the task sequence has the Download all contents locally before starting task sequence configuration applied to it.
This problem occurs only if multiple task sequences include the same package, and the package has a larger source size.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

To apply this hotfix, you must have Cumulative Update 4 for System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1 installed.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
