Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You install Internet Explorer 11 on a Windows 7-based computer.

  • You change the dots per inch (DPI) setting to a value that is larger than 100%.Note To change the setting, click Make text and other items larger or smallerĀ in the Screen Resolution panel, and then select a setting which is larger than regular.

  • You log off, and then log on to the computer.

In this scenario, Windows gadgets are displayed abnormally.

Cause

This is a known issue. Microsoft is currently investigating this problem. This article will be updated when a resolution is available.
